Prescription medicine — requires guidance from an HIV/AIDS specialist
Three active ingredients, one tablet
Each Acriptega tablet fixes three active ingredients that act on three different enzymes in the HIV replication cycle — providing comprehensive viral suppression and a lower risk of resistance.
- 01
Dolutegravir (DTG)
50mgIntegrase inhibitor
Blocks HIV from integrating its DNA into the host CD4 cell's DNA. A high genetic barrier to resistance — the newest generation of integrase inhibitors.
- 02
Lamivudine (3TC)
300mgReverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI)
Competes with natural nucleosides, terminating the viral DNA synthesis chain early.
- 03
Tenofovir disoproxil (TDF)
300mgReverse transcriptase inhibitor (NtRTI)
A nucleotide-based mechanism similar to 3TC, adding to the overall suppression of viral replication.
Three points of interruption across one HIV replication cycle
Why Acriptega is favored as a first-line regimen
Superior viral suppression
International trials (SPRING-2, SINGLE, FLAMINGO) show Dolutegravir reaches an undetectable viral load faster and more consistently than Efavirenz or Raltegravir.
High resistance barrier
Compared with Efavirenz- or Nevirapine-based regimens, Dolutegravir sustains long-term efficacy even with occasional missed doses.
Just one tablet a day
A single daily tablet simplifies adherence — the key driver of long-term HIV treatment success.
Fewer CNS side effects
Causes fewer sleep disturbances, vivid dreams, or dizziness than Efavirenz-based regimens.
Globally recommended
Listed among WHO's preferred first-line regimens since 2019, and adopted into Vietnam's national HIV treatment guidelines.
